About

BFO boys in Spain

Eli was diagnosed with a rare form of brainstem glioma called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma, DIPG, on May 5 2014. His diagnosis came 3 short weeks after we arrived in Israel to live so that Alex, Eli’s dad, could take up a two year fellowship. After a ten month battle with the debilitating and frustrating illness, Eli died at his home on March 9 2015. Eli was four years old when he died and despite dying at such a young age, he lived a life full of meaning, enthusiasm and humour. This site is a dedication to Eli and to all things Eli. We encourage you to share your memories of Eli whether they be stories, photos or videos on the site. We love you Eli… Go Eli Go!!
